Four women, all teachers at Munich's Novalis high school, feel the sword of Damocles of the menopause threateningly hover above them - Angelika has hot flashes, Beate uncontrolled emotional outbursts, Cornelia gets panic attacks and Desiree is suffering from nervous exhaustion.
