In the scenic landscape of the Sonoma Valley lies the Sonoma ashram. There, about a dozen men and women, from all over the US, live following the teachings of their Indian guru, Baba Harihar Ramji, descendant of the Agoreshwar Yoga tradition born in Varanasi India. As we pass the gates of the ashram, we enter a world of religious practice, physical and spiritual training, and, maybe even more essentially, one based on the belief that this place cut off from the outside world, and from its noise, actually allows a more direct route towards a form of truth about oneself and about the world.
