Wake is a short film about how our subconscious tries to compensate for emotional lacks in our lives. We tell this story from the perspective of a man who is suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, who’s only contact with the outside world is with his nurse who brings him his medication each day. Over time he has become more detached from normal, conscious thought and as a result he has got the image of his mother and the nurse confused with one another. |
