When her mum leaves to get help for her beaten son, Katie sits in a locked car on the top floor of a multi-story car park. Her younger brother, Kyle, and his friend, Reece, sit in the back seats. Their faces are bruised as they look in disbelief at the bullies at the end of the car park who have followed them from the confrontation at school. Taking back what Kyle had stolen from them wasn’t enough, they want revenge. The kids are trapped. The initial buzz of freedom from authority quickly wears off as tensions rise and plans are formulated. All made worse by the fact that Katie’s mum shows no sign of coming back to the car with help. As the day passes and the bullies show no sign of leaving, conflict boils over into a crescendo of violence. |
