As participants in the Rio+20 U.N. Conference on Sustainability, members of the Academy For Future Science gathered on June 19, 2012 along with 500 indigenous peoples from Brazil and throughout the world, at the Kari-Oka Village jungle encampment near Rio de Janeiro.
