On the south west tip of Scotland lies an ice-aged blowhole by the sea. Originally used as a fresh fish larder for the laird of the nearby Logan Estate Logan Fish Pond is now lovingly cared for by it’s owner Ruth. Forced to make a decision between a modeling career for Gucci and her love of marine life Ruth Daynes now runs the pond as a marine conservation project allowing the public to visit wonderful native species from Scottish waters and experience the idyllic setting by the sea. Mermaid follows Ruth’s daily tasks and looks the way of life she has chosen here. |
