It’s Christmas Eve and Evaluna, a lovely eight-year old girl, waits anxiously for the presents Santa Claus will bring (although she already knows that parents are the ones who really buy the Christmas presents). Evaluna is a lively girl; she is smart, generous and kind of naive. She has an overwhelming energy that gets transmitted to all those around her, due to her vitality and joie de vivre. Evaluna cannot tell a lie, because she doesn’t conceive evil. That virtue, however, makes her sometimes vulnerable in front of her classmates, who are envious of her integrity and her determination in being everybody’s friend. But Evaluna is happy, because she is surrounded by people who love her: her family is her driving force and the shelter of all her problems. Although Evaluna loves her parents and brothers very much, she really worships her grandpa Jaime, who allows her all her whims.
