Facial recognition algorithms identify facial features by extracting landmarks, or features, from an image of a subject’s face. The human brain is said to be one of the most adept devices in recognizing objects. However there is just one glitch. Our imagination often times takes over and will try to take visual leaps with the information that flows through the optic nerves to the brain. Making sense out of nonsense becomes a priority when we see things from a different perspective. Something as simple as seeing something upside down makes our imagination run wild. The film Expressions is nothing more than a cinematic example of what happens when your world flips on its head. Enjoy. |
