Documentarian, Joe Murphy, presents his own efforts to live with the incurable, largely misunderstood and frequently debilitating disease, Type I diabetes. He talks to others with the disease and to medical professionals to dispel many of the common stereotypes associated with Type I diabetes. Diabetics describe their own at times harrowing experiences dealing with this disease, and a variety of medical professionals describe the latest efforts to manage and find a cure for diabetes. |
