After years of being the president of a fraternity and narrowly graduating from college, Max is currently working towards getting a masters degree and has moved away from greek life on campus. While he no longer lives in the frat house, he can’t seem to escape his from his old fraternity brothers who are a little older, but not much wiser. After a devastating breakup with his girlfriend Chloe, Max is single and in a bit of a transitional phase. His confidence is at an all time low, but being a serial monogamist of sorts, he is on the hunt for new love. One day after class, Max decides to take a walk through the sculpture garden on campus at UCLA and hears some beautiful music in the distance. He walks closer only to discover a dark haired goddess practicing violin near the music department. Max stares at her in amazement and approaches her when she completes her song…. but as he approaches she puts on a middle eastern head scarf and Max is thrown off and doesn’t know what to say to her and walks away. When he tells his friends about this interaction they call him out as being a racist, or at least a xenophobist. This leads Max on an internal philosophical investigation forcing him to confront his own prejudices and become more open minded. Later that week, Max sees her on campus again but fails to work up the courage to strike up a conversation with her. Will Max work up the guts to speak with her? Is this girl potentially the love he has been looking for all his life? Watch Westwood and find out! |
