Life in the Red Light District of downtown San José, Costa Rica, is tainted by crime and destitution. After spending 15 years in prison (starting when he was 17) and driven by questions about his own fall, Koki chooses to take a videeo camera and document this reality. This film combines Koki’s footage of the Red Light District with his personal reflections about poverty, drug use, crime, and the prison system. At the same time this is a story of hope, for Koki exemplifies the changes that can be made for one’s children and family. He broke the cycle of crime and poverty, and that is the message he brings. |

yellow_rose1 : I love this movie. It is so stupid that it's probably the funniest dark comedy/horror film...
