In Benaras, Ratikant Choudhury invites them to a party thrown by zamindar Dipnarayan Singh at his residence to celebrate his recovery after a prolonged illness. But the very next day , Dipnarayan dies under suspicious circumstances. Byomkesh takes the responsibility of investigating his murder.
