Jessica grew up in a rural Pentecostal Pile-up community. Now an ER nurse in the city, she’d like to think she’s left all that behind. But her inability to separate sex from guilt and sin has left her a recluse who works doubles and watches endless episodes of Buffy to avoid her guilt-tripping mother and Aaron, who keeps pestering her for a drink. Her two best friends intervene on her birthday with a gift designed to help her find a way to sexual balance. The resulting adventure is fraught with comic tension.
