Twenty-something Jayne lives a happy life as an advertising executive with her boyfriend Tom, a bicycle shop owner, who’s eager to settle down. That is until the recession strikes and Jayne’s job in the capital falls victim to the double dip; leaving her unemployed and underwhelmed in London. When Tom jokes with Jayne about joining a support group for those jilted by the recession, she ends up meeting Jess; the groups free spirited leader and activist. Together they attend anti-capitalist protests where Jayne finds a new occupation but loses sight of her home; neglecting her relationship with man who’s planning the perfect proposal. |
