17 year-old Srulik is an Israeli youth of Ethiopian origin who has been kicked out of the educational system. He works cleaning floors, dreams of becoming a famous rapper and writes songs. The songs he writes and sings with his band tell the story of the youths in Shapira Neighborhood, their lives and fantasies. When the Ethiopians’ protest against racism rises, Srulik is infuriated. He puts his feelings into words and gives the protest a voice. |
