In Texas, fireworks can be sold for about 10 days before the 4th of July and New Year’s Eve. Most sales are from small roadside stands, many of which advertise “Buy 1 Get 5 Free” (or even 11). The stands are operated by a diverse group of people, who we meet. We also meet a distributor, visit a superstore, watch a semi-pro display, and even talk with a man who repairs the stands. |
