Black Moonlight tells the story of Paul and Laura, two isolated souls who roam the streets of Jersey city at night, alone. Laura is a beautiful Brazilian woman who has recently escaped a dysfunctional relationship. After years of living in fear, she steals her lover’s money and jewelry and loses herself in a motel in Jersey City. Paul, whose wife has recently committed suicide, is terrified that another woman her loves will be taken from him. He is hesitant about letting Laura into his life and drowns his sorrows in alcohol and prostitutes. Can these two people let go of their pain and open to the hope of love and redemption?
