I was searching for a new artist as the subject for a new short doc. When I saw an article on Elizabeth Foster and her work, I knew I had found my subject. I could see the strong southern tradition of storytelling in Elizabeth’s work. Upon the first impression of her work, my people think the message is aimed at children. Through the lighthearted animals she paints, the artist tries to work through the life challenges we all struggle with. |
