‘Surfaces and Gaps’ is a short exploration of my emotions surrounding the physical and mental decline of my aging mother. Visually it is an homage to the painted light films of Stan Brakhage. I am primarily a fiction writer and prose poet, and this short is an outgrowth of my literary work. |
