This new work takes Duchamp’s painting, first echoing it, then using its innovative techniques as a jumping-off point, the video uses innovative techniques of this modern medium to create a moving, 21st version of the painting. The video addresses issues of the nexus of inspiration, the gaze, how we see, what we perceive and the male body. |
