When the young Vietnamese-American Mai invites James to dinner with Mai’s parents, she expected nothing more than a lovely evening in which she would make a grand announcement. However, the prejudice of Mai’s Auntie Teo sours the evening for everyone as she makes several racist remarks about James in Vietnamese. However, she finds out that James is far more than he seems. |
