A narrative song, ‘Our Time Comes’ tells a valuable lesson through the eyes of a teenage girl and her encounter with an old woman. In an moment of epiphany, she sees beyond the woman’s superficial wrinkles to the whole life behind it - the highs and lows of a person who’s lived through war and life and love and suffering. It’s a simple, beautiful tale of a cutting truth about growing out of preconceptions and seeing people for who they really are, made all the more relevant by using visuals created in a computer game. |
