‘Sounds of Oud’ is the story of a Middle Eastern couple living in NY. The wife - Rasha - is a traditional, practicing Muslim who is desperate to have a child with her husband. The husband - Jawad - is struggling internally between living a traditional lifestyle and surrendering to his true passion. As the film evolves, Rasha discovers that her husband is in love with their close friend Samir. The truth comes out in a dramatic climax that raises more questions than it answers. |
