Aurelia sets out on a quest to save her imprisoned children. Set in the imaginary country of Balnibarbi from the book ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ by Jonathan Swift written nearly 300 years ago. A rebellion is under way against a harsh regime who have ‘Laputa’, a flying island, which they use as air power against their population. Laputa retold in a present day setting relates remarkably to current events. In this retelling, Lem Gulliver and Jonathan Swift appear as journalists covering events for ‘BBA News’. ‘Laputa’ gained official selection in the 2012 Pollygrind Underground Film Festival in Las Vegas. ‘Laputa’ is now on Youtube. |

yellow_rose1 : I love this movie. It is so stupid that it's probably the funniest dark comedy/horror film...
