Grandad and I is a short, student drama based in North Yorkshire, England. In the film, Jack, a lonely but imaginative young boy goes on a much anticipated trip to his ‘hero’ grandfathers house for Christmas Eve. However during the stay Jack comes to realize that the man he thought he idolized isn’t the same man at all. ‘Grandad and I’ focuses on the period of growing up that everyone can relate to. The time when Christmas’s becomes less magical and the flaws in our heroes become more clear. |
