What if Jesus came now, rather then when he did? We channel surf news reports surrounding the last week of Jesus’ life, as seen through the eyes of the media. Rumors, facts, and half-truths fly around interchangeably on nightly news, talk shows and even commercials. Questions about Jesus’ nationality, race, sexual orientation and birth are posed by the media who mistakenly assume that Jesus is running for President in the year 2000. Mathew, Mark, Luke and John were the original news reporters. This comtemporary version allows the viewer to experience how today’s media might handle Jesus. In addition, the viewers get to ask themselves what they would believe if Jesus came today. |
