On 26th November 2011 British photographer Olimax invited the public to participate in a mass portrait event at Eat Meat Gallery Barcelona. Each subject brought with them an object that symbolized Catalunya to them. Olimax created 100 pr traits of them at a rate of 4 Min’s a shot. This is the film of that event. The film presents a perceptive series of short essays on key aspects and traditions of Catalan culture. Mixing interviews with the participants with modern and historical archive footage and cut together with an atmospheric soundtrack the film becomes a kind of barometer for an ever evolving culture. |
