The film opens in the aftermath of Marcus “The Mac” Morrison’s notorious championship fight. Mac is deeply affected by his actions and is considering retiring but quickly finds that his current situation and his contract make it very difficult. This story is about a champion that is destroyed by his own talent. I wanted to explore theme of a man trapped with his life in the hands of corporate execs. |
