Details:

An amusing good-natured painting has been made the subject of a colored short film called ‘The Studio’….Without sound or subtitles (except for a delightful piece of music from Vivaldi arranged by Leonard Handler). The film begins with the artist’s work at her London based studio. All day long Juliette flings, scatters, shoots, pushes, paints all over her canvas and herself. The picture grows beautifully, and actually turns out to have quite a delightful resemblance to the model. Of course, attractive for all it imitativeness. Finally, the painter finishes, carefully studies her work and proceeds to examine the canvas in order to measure the success of her creativity. The Director has attempted to convert very long silent moments into a very short film by speeding up and the use of multi-screens concurrently.
