A short film scored by the haunting and beautiful song ‘wait for me’ by moby. A woman is trapped in a cycle of obsession and self-blame about her abusive past. As the film starts, she begins to see signs around her suggesting it is imperative that she let go. She must kill the past, mourn it, and then begin again fresh. She experiences an epiphany. She is encouraged to forgive herself and others; to accept the mystery and imperfection of life. The film expresses the journey visually by starting with low quality footage in a dense urban environment at night - moving backward - and transitioning to high quality, deeply saturated footage moving forward in nature and the sun. |

Danfis : I think this could be a series. Don't even need Ted Danson. Characters carried the show.
