No longer the Wild Wild West, the interconnectivity of El Paso, Texas and its sister city, Ciudad Juarez, has been sliced through in the name of national security. Director, C.M. Landrus, takes an exclusive ride along the largely misunderstood U.S./Mexico border exploring the political, economic, cultural and deeply personal perspectives of those most affected by the border fence. Featuring a U.S. Border Patrol agent juxtaposed with a representative of a border immersion program, “Green White Red White Blue” presents a complex and layered look at issues for which everyone has questions but no one has answers. The film also features original music from Internationally known local musicians Radio la Chusma as well as world renowned scholar and poet, Anand Prahlad. |
