Every day a family is torn apart from the death of a family member. Father’s Day is a film about an embittered widowed father and his precocious daughter Rudy and their relationship after the death of her mother. On the holiday, Rudy attempts to honor her mother’s memory, but the father has an acrimonious way of dealing with the loss—-resulting in a dark and startling finish. |
