‘For Now’ is a short film depicting the aftermath of the kidnapping of Mel, a teen-aged girl. Specifically, the film focuses on the affect the kidnapping as made on the victim’s best friend. The story shows how the grieving changes over time, using the motif of a garage to demonstrate this passage of time. ‘For Now’ gives insight to the fact that although initial feelings made fade, pain can still linger. |
