In the Dead of Winter (2013)

An epidemic has overtaken the Midwest, as a deadly virus has infected every natural water source. Quarantined by dams, locks, and levees - the cold of winter makes for hell on Earth. As snow falls, more and more become contaminated; turning into insane, bloodthirsty, and violent crazies. Unaware of the chaos, Clyde, an ex-con, is released from prison. Forced to face the brutality of a viscous world, he finds refuge with Lawrence, who leads him to a “safe” haven. However, things aren’t that easy.
