A young ex-hockey player welcomes his little sister into his home under the pretense of ‘watching the game,’ but in reality he is eager to relive past familial memories. He soon realizes that the tenuous connection they once had is destroyed due to her burgeoning womanhood and ease in accepting their parent’s divorce - a direct contrast to his own stagnation. An expressionistic look at how one event can affect momentum and memory in different people, the film is presented in a single seven minute shot in order to convey a new memory being made in real time. It incorporates experimental sound design in order to inject a sense of the past and to imply different time frames within the context of the present. |
