Details:

Two Latvian adventurers (Karlis Bardelis and Gints Barkovskis) depart from Lüderitz, Namibia on 4th May 2016 in a rowboat (7x2m) on a journey to cross the Atlantic and arrive to Rio de Janeiro to the 2016 Summer Olympics in August. Instead of planned 90 days on the way, they spend 142 days in the vast South Atlantic and reach Brasil long after the games have finished. But they have become the first team in the world, who have rowed across the South Atlantic Ocean - without an engine, sails or any supporting vessels. Both are not professional sailors or rowers, but adventurers with a desire to experience the Ocean.
