A history of drug addiction has made Gus a vanishing act within his own family, so when his younger sister Alex receives an emergency phone call asking for a meeting she feels compelled to meet up with him. Gus shows up to bare his soul and ask for something in return, and while Alex assumes it’s for more money, she’s horrified to learn his real motives. There’s a dangerous new drug out called Dust, and it offers the pleasures of heaven while high and the torments of hell when withdrawn. The Dust Dealers are mythical figures that appear when an addict is at their lowest, bringing powdery promises of redemption and bliss while delivering a trap of damnation. Once hooked the addict has only one choice: bring in someone new to get their next fix. |
