The Lovers of Valdaro were found by archaeologists in a Neolithic tomb in Italy in 2007. The two skeletons died in each other’s embrace, forever facing each other, forever together, forever in love. Words and music by Daniel Zaitchik tell a timeless story of love, inspired by the skeletons and shows that the relationships people have with each other and with death has not changed much in 6,000 years. Using archived footage and studio shots, this lyric video was directed, filmed, shot and edited in NYC by filmmaker Marjorie LeWit. Zaitchik’s album, Natural History, launched in January 2020 with this music video. |
