They make up four couples who find themselves drawn together through on-line personal ads. As they meet and go on first dates, these people explore themselves and each other through their conversations about politics, sex, pornography, infidelity, and religion. While all of the singles make discoveries, most of the realizations come at a price-which none of them is expecting. Getting Personal paints a comic and poignant portrait of human interaction in its myriad forms-love, lust, romantic relationships, or…just really bad dates. |
