Since the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan in 1979, the number of Afghan immigrants in Iran has exceeded 3.5 million. The young generation of the Afghan immigrants was born and grew up in Iran. Most of them have never been to Afghanistan. Should they stay or should they go, where do they belong. This is the dilemma they are struggling with every day. There is no obvious answer to it and the dilemma will not disappear. Hesitation, pain, farewell and even death may accompany each step they take. It will take long and the history may forget, but the song of heart is unlikely to cease playing, on the string of forgetfulness.
