Twelve year old Penny recently moved with her mother to the small upstate town of Pookerton, NY, leaving her father behind in Manhattan. Penny refuses to accept her parent’s separation as permanent. Having difficulty fitting in at the small town school, Penny turns to her four illustrated characters,”THE BOPS” for comfort. When she mistakenly receives a U.S. military experimental 3-D bio printer for her birthday,The”Bops are brought to life. The FBI soon arrive to confiscate the stolen printer and the living Bops, While Penny’s parents reconcile their differences in an effort to locate her, she takes a bus to Manhattan where she’s ultimately captured by the authorities.The Feds think their troubles are over, but when the original thief once again steals the printer, they’ll need Penny and “The Bops” to save the day.
