Swiss Guards at the time of Pope Francis. Leo and René are a forester and a student of theology of Aargau. They have decided to enter the Pontifical Swiss Guard. For over 500 years, the Swiss Guard has been at the service of the Popes and has been watching over the Vatican. It all began in 1506 when the first Swiss arrived on request of the then Pope Julius II. Leo is a simple guy , he is pleased to live an educational experience in the Eternal City. René is a catholic intellectual who wants to understand: what does it mean to wear an uniform of the 16th century? and to be part of a colorful and for many ways anachronistic military body, especially in comparison with “revolutionary “ figure of Pope Francis. The young soldier tries to find an answer for himself and also for his brothers in arms. |

yellow_rose1 : I love this movie. It is so stupid that it's probably the funniest dark comedy/horror film...
