A hard life lesson to learn is that sometimes your dreams might not always match up with your reality. For Rose, everything seems perfect: she spills coffee all over the casting director all while forgetting to staple her headshot and resume together, but when she gets the casting director to ask her out on a date, obviously everything was just meant to be. For Emery, everything is raining cats and dogs: he hates being a casting director and would rather be writing to inspire others with his stories, but paying the bills in New York City just isn’t going to fund itself. He sees Rose as a new opportunity. An inspiration. She loves what she does (despite how outlandish she is at it) and he wants to feel the same. The two somehow manage to make a connection through all this, despite one flaw: neither of them knows the other’s name. Inspired by Shakespeare’s ‘Much Ado About Nothing,’ this relatable story follows two people meeting at a time when life just doesn’t seem to make much sense.
