Dedication, passion, fun and engagement … all aspects of sport. This film focuses on soccer in particular, and how these different facets of sport can be used to get kids off the streets, through high school and into college. It also defines the vision and ambition of Andrew So the founder of South Bronx United, a soccer club in the Bronx, founded three years ago, serving the community in many ways. . His dedication and passion has already impacted over 400 kids, most of them from immigrant backgrounds. As just one example of the many kids that Andrew helps both with soccer and education, the story of Chris, a 17 years old kid who came from the Congo two years ago, is intertwined in the film. |
