Short 15 min-documentary address the conflict I found often among Korean female student who study abroad in the west. In Korea there is still gender gap in earning salary, working condition and above all in people’s consciousness. Many of Korean female students who study abroad experience cultural clash between the traditional role of woman imposed by their society and new independent woman role model who are free from the pressure to subject them to social norms but also be free to pursue happiness in all their individuality. |
