Details:

This mini-documentary tells the story of albino killings and social stigma in Tanzania. This includes: (1) a narrative from the reporter who went undercover as a businesswoman to expose the role of witch doctors in albino killings, (2) the narrative of an albino woman who was attacked and had both of her arms cut off for magic, (3) a Tanzanian physician’s beliefs about obstacles to albino medical treatment, (4) the perspective of a mother of a child with albinism, and (5) stories about social stigma, health, and other issues from ten Tanzanian albinos. Several albinos extend the message of forgiveness and hope. My albino friend Martha asked me to create this documentary to let people know what is happening to those with albinism in Tanzania.
