The main character together with her husband comes to an exhibition of their friend, an artist whom they didn’t see from long ago. The artist gives her a hairpin which he kept since their friendship. The heroine accepts the gift as a sign of love. Having woken up in the morning, she finds her portrait drawn by the same artist in the car. She goes to the artist to make an avowal of sentiments, but it becomes clear that her portrait in the car - was ordered by her husband, and the artist isn’t so in love with her. She leaves from the artist and leaves from the husband, finding the feeling of internal freedom. |
