Ben, an unaccomplished young man, is reluctantly taking care of his older brother’s house while he and his wife take time off to mourn the tragic loss of their young daughter. Everything is fine until one night Ben receives a disturbing phone call from his brother, asking if he has seen anything out of the ordinary in the house. Insisting that he is fine and that the house is for all accounts normal, Ben is inquisitive as to why his older brother is so worried. As the real reasons behind the couple abandoning the house begin to surface, Ben begins to realize that he may not be alone in the house at all.
