A poetic and visual journey through the main works of architect Carlo Maderno (Capolago 1556 - Rome 1629), in which the structure of Baroque architecture emerges: the Church of Santa Susanna in Rome, Palazzo Mattei di Giove, the main portal of the Palazzo sul Quirinale, the door of the Hall of the Corazzieri, the stairway of the Casino dell’Aurora Pallavicini, the cupola of the Church of Sant’Andrea della Valle, the Scossacavalli fountain, the water theatre at Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati, the façade and naves of the Basilica of St Peter’s in the Vatican. A contribution to the rediscovery of the origins of Baroque.
