‘As a Friend’ is the telling and retelling of a relationship between three teenagers. It rebuilds the events leading to one teens death through a construction of desperate memories prompted by a police investigation. With the Hudson Valley as a backdrop, this film navigates the margins between fact and fiction, poetry and teen angst.
